Rehabilitation of Bridges 39W-74 & 39W-75

Structural rehabilitations to East and West Channel bridges, including but not limited to; access platforms, traffic control measures, removal of existing asphalt pavement/waterproofing, install roadway protection, remove entire expansion joint assembly including end dams and adjacent deck concrete and top portion of ballast walls, remove entire approach slab, both approaches. Reconstruct top of ballast walls, new deck end blocks and semi-integral abutments, reconstruct new barrier walls and sidewalk at deck ends. Construct new approach slabs and sleeper slabs, plus install expansion joints, waterproof entire deck and pave deck and approach slabs. Work also included structural jacking plus removal and replacement of all existing elastomeric bearings (East structure only), milling/paving of the entire roadway, and abrasive blast cleaning all girder ends including bearing assembly and re-coating with new structural steel coating system.
